Rwanda has restored her international glory after the disastrous 1994 genocide and as a result a range of international carriers have launched flights to Kigali tapping into the ever growing Rwandan flying clientele.
Rwanda herself owns a national airline named Rwanda Air that utilizes Kigali International Airport as its hub from which it launches flights to different parts of the world. Other international carriers that operate flights to Rwanda include; Brussels Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines, fly Dubai, Kenya Airways, KLM, Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines.
Rwanda also has charter carriers that offer domestic and regional flights including Akagera Aviation, Tempus Jet and Nexus Aero.
Rwanda has a range of Airports that are scattered all over the country providing a perfect international and domestic connection. These include; the Bugesera International Airport in the Nyamata in the east, Butare Airport in Southern Province, Kamembe International Airport in Cyangungu in the western province, Gisenyi Airport in Cyangungu in western province, Gisenyi Airport in Gisenyi western province, Kigali International Airport in Kigali, Nemba Airport in Nemba in eastern Airport and Ruhengeri Airport in Ruhengeri in Northern Province.
