Day 1 of the 4 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Make a stop at Uganda Equator crossing Kayabwe and Igongo Cultural Center for traditional Lunch
Following your breakfast at your place of stay in Kampala, you will embark on the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park 527km about 10 hours’ drive. The drive to the south west of the country will see you make the first stop at Uganda Equator crossing Kayabwe 72km from Kampala to encounter the world’s main latitude that marks the point of divide between the south and north spheres. The amazing photos can be taken with each leg in a different hemisphere. Water experiment is also carried out to ascertain the geographical divide between the southern and northern hemisphere. After this encounter, you will continue on the drive in the direction of Bwindi driving past the traditional rangelands of Ankole with impressive scenery and the views of cattle both long horned and Friesian grazing in this savannah rangeland. The sights of Burchell’s Zebras and Impala straying from the adjacent Lake Mburo National Park may also be encountered as they graze along with the cows. Make another stop at Igongo Cultural Center 12km to Mbarara town for a traditional lunch buffet exploring the local cuisine in detail. After lunch, you continue on the drive arriving in Bwindi in the evening for check in at your lodge, relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2 of the 4 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari: Do Gorilla trekking & transfer to Rwanda (Volcanoes National Park)
Following breakfast at your lodge, you will gather at the respective park headquarters in the region where you are going to track for briefing at 8am. The briefing which is conducted by the park staff details the conduct of gorilla trekking activity and at this moment, the gorilla family to track is also allocated per a group of eight (8) people. The eventual heading to the mist is a remarkable experience that will form part of your life time adventure. Day 3 of the 4 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari: Do gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park and cross to Uganda (Lake Bunyonyi)
After a thrilling breakfast from your respective lodge, you will gather at the Volcanoes Park Headquarters in Kinigi at 8am for briefing and the eventual start of the gorilla tracking encounter. The park rangers will give you the situation that surrounds gorilla trekking and the respective dos and don’ts for the very activity while enjoying a thrilling cup of Rwandan coffee and being entertained by the famous Intore dance demonstrating the traditional Rwandan society. After a relaxed breakfast, embark on a thrilling boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi with its 29 Islands dubbed the lake of a thousand Islands. The boat takes you around these Islands amidst scenic views of the Kigezi Highlands. The 2 – 3 hour encounter gives you an opportunity to encounter the Island Communities as they cruise to and from the shore and others doing some fishing. Retreat from the activity and embark on the transfer to Kampala 437km about 7 hours’ drive arriving in the evening to mark the end of your safari.
